Horseheads Youth Lacrosse is for boys and girls in grades K thru 12. The summer program focuses on learning the basic skills of lacrosse and applying them to game situations. Each division will be specially designed to focus on these skills, good sportsmanship. teamwork, and fun!
General Information
The program is split into 8 classifications; Classifications may be combined and/or canceled due to participation numbers.
Coed K-1, 2-3
Boys 4-6, 7-8, 9-12
Girls Grades 4-6, 7-8, 9-12
Required Equipment
Boys:
Stick, Helmet, Mouthpiece, Gloves, Shoulder Pad w/ heart piece, Arm Pads
Girls:
Stick, Goggles, Mouthpiece
Goalies:
Throat Guard, Chest Protector
Boys/Girls 7-8 Grade Program
Program is designed to be 20-25 minutes skill based, with 30-35 minutes game based.
Program structure may be adjusted due to participation numbers.
Boys/Girls 9-12 Grade Program
Program is based on games to be played each Monday and Wednesday (Two 45-Minute Games).
Program structure may be adjusted due to participation numbers.
